These speakers come with titanium dome tweeters to give you loud and clear sound, but they don’t cost $300 like many of the other speakers that feature titanium dome tweeters.
The 3/4″ tweeter will get loud enough to ensure that you can hear your music over the engine, wind, and water noise. When you see the Kicker name and the price point, it almost sounds too good to be true, but it’s not. You can get the performance you know and expect from Kicker, in a true marine grade product, and the price point is significantly lower than many of the other speakers with similar performance.
In addition, the Kicker KM65 come with both white and charocal speaker grilles so you don’t have to decide on the speaker grille color now. You can decide once you have your speakers and you can determine which color looks best in your boat.
The Kicker KM65 can be powered by a head unit or by an amplifier. We always recommend an amplifier because you want to make sure you can turn your music up over all of the ambient noise and hear it loud, clear, and without distortion. But, you don’t NEED one if it isn’t in the budget.
